Apparently, “Hurricane” Sandy was later considered a “tropical superstorm“ instead.

UPDATES:

• 102 reported deaths. (41 in NY)
• ALL PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN  NYC RESUME MONDAY NOVEMBER 5, 2012.
• NYC MARATHON CANCELLED FOR SUNDAY for 40,000 runners 
• 13-foot surge of seawater at New York City, flooding: tunnels, subway stations and the electrical system that powers Wall Street.
• Bus Services will reopen on Oct, 30, at 5 pm as a SUNDAY schedule.
• NYC subways flooded. Power will be RESTORED on NOV 1, 2012, but stops will be LIMITED.
